Sylvan Chain Mail - Where?

    As the topic says, I'm looking for a set of Elven Chain Main - Specifically the Sylvan Chain. Is it in Suldenesselar? Who has it?

    Suldenesselar has many elven chain, but the Sylvan Chain +2 is in ToB (Illasera, right) as well as the Bladesinger Chain (Sendai), from which Cespenar can make the Aslyferund Elven Chain +5.

    The Sylvan Chain does belong to Illasera, but the Bladesinger Chain is in the possession of the Black Dragon in Suldanesselar. Sendai wears the Studded Leather of Thorns +6.

    The Bladesinger chain is actually loot from the black dragon in Suldenesselar. I'm not entirely certain, but I think Sendai simply wears a Drow chainmail.

    I remembered the Sylvan Chain correctly, but to ensure that there is no special chain in Suldanesselar (such as the bladesinger one), I used a modder program to find the occurances of it. It displays Sendai but not Nizamandatitiyruhjghl' (the black dragon. DLTCEP has an unreliable search engine for such task). Sendai has 8 creature files, I guess they're her 'simulacrums', so I supposed that SENDAI.CRE will be the normal, and not SENDAI2-SENDAI8.CRE. And indeed, sendai.cre seems to be wearing the same item as the Black Dragon has. But in the game then, they solved it that way that you don't pick up that item from Sendai. (I also don't remember picking it up from Sendai, but who knows.) I've just found out that the same Sendai file has the Thorns armour as well, but according to DLTCEP, in her Quickslot (!) inventory slot. This is possible because the developers might have used the slots in non-standard way, but I don't trust DLTCEP 100%, I should check some things to prove it (or its opposite) but I've no time.

    OK OK nonetheless I'm getting out of practice :p , haven't played BG2 for years, so my memories are sometimes faint.

    We're talking about the multi-class mage chainmail right?

    Elven Chain can be gotten in Trademeet from the male Lord's manor for the earliest piece I am aware of. just kill him for it. There are also a couple other points to pick it up at that it gets dropped by monsters. The black dragon has the bladesinger chain.
