Tactics Mod v23 download

    I'm looking for an updated version of the Tactics mod. I was looking at mine and turns out I still have v15...I haven't updated in a while!

    Anyway, I went over to the SP mods section which linked me over to Weimer's site. However, as soon as I downloaded the zipped file antivirus popped up saying that the file was infected with some Trojan virus. Weimer should look into that...but ANYWAY..for the moment.

    I'm looking for an alternative mirror for the Tactics mod download. Can someone give me a link pls?

    What are some of the changes? Are there really radical changes and additions? I haven't updated nearly...well more than one year I fear.

    I thought I saw a tougher Druid Grove component in the readme...apart from that I really don't remember...

    I already have tougher druid grove and Faldorn. Do you mean even more tougher? Interesting.

    Update your virus definitions and then re-download. Weimer hasn't updated tactics in a very, very long time (its been over a year)....and I've never seen this problem before.

    That your virusscanner marks the zip file as a virus can also be the result of a "collision", in which a fingerprint of the file is the same as a fingerprint of an actual virus.
    That you're the only one who has recieved that message might be because your virus scanner has a different way in how it calculates a fingerprint.

    It might also be that Weimers server is infected and that there is indeed a virus in the zipfile, so it's your pick.

    Weimer is hosted on SP's server, and if there were any problems with any other files, I'd probably have heard about it by now. All the reports of broken or infected files I've received in 7 years (and I mean ALL, every single one of them) turned out to be false. People just don't download files whole for some reason, or their download gets corrupted, or their virus scanner scares them witless with false positives... etc.

    SFX-RARs are, for whatever reason, particularly notorious for false virus scanner positives.

    Well...I did update my antivirus definitions and the msg I got was that it was as Trojan, specifically. I'm at Changi Airport in Singapore, so its going to be a little hard to re-download the file and verify, ( ;) ) but I will do this once I get home, and get back to you guys.

    FYI, I'm using the free version of AVG Antivirus. Tactics is hosted on SP? I originally went through SP and the link thingy said Ext. download or something and took me to Weimer's page.

    I'll give it another go later and get back to you anyway! :)
