    [IMG] Dear Tal

Just to let you know, in case this is not an isolated problem. I am having problems seeing posted replies that I am making. I have tried using the 'refresh' option and waiting for quite a time and 'refreshing' again but still no joy. Of course this means i can't edit them or check that they are ok.

2 topics that are having this problem are:
    http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/Forum2/HTML/002951.html

    and
    http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000752.html

I don't know if there are others.

PS I guess that the posts are going in because the 'Last Post' date and time, shown in the list of recent posts, shows the date of my reply.

PPS I can see and so edit this one. I have also noticed that the tit;e of this post has left me open to ridicule

[IMG] Run a search in Whatnots, this has been discussed a couple of times before. Try clearing all your cache. If that doesn't help, check all the previous posts about it.

I did look honest ;) Of course I didn't look hard enough. i found loads of posts saying 'refresh button' but of course that didn't work for me. Going right back to one from August last year though, there was a post from Tal. he had been having the same problem and finally sorted it with "The ISP I usually use installed some freaking cache engine. It's supposed to serve some sites faster, but now there's already a bunch I can't even get to load.
Mine loads, but none of my replies to other people's posts here show. Just if I make a new one or reply to myself. Sigh.
I have another ISP, so I can use that with no problems... but this one is cheaper. So I guess I'll have to live without seeing my replies as I make em. (Everyone else sees them though).
I guess the cache is updated once a day so they show for me after a while. Ah well..."

So I logged on with another ISP and problem solved. Don't you just love technology
