teambg.com dead?

    This is probably old news, but I am wondering, does anyone know what happened? Did I miss the big gasp? But what happened to teambg.com, I need some of their editing tools. >.>

    Basically TeamBG got hacked, and apparently the damage that was done was fairly extensive so much so that the entire server would have to be restored...i don't really know much more beyond that except that a lot of work/time would be required to bring TeamBG back. TeamBG has had similar problems before and i guess this was just the last straw that broke the camel's back...

    For the moment no one seems to know if TeamBG will ever be back (Ken the administrator of TeamBG was obviously frustrated with the events that took place and is unsure if he wants to continue with it...TeamBG had undergone a server upgrade a few months before all this)

    Realistically speaking the TeamBG we knew is likely finished (a lot of the mods hosted there have found new homes and the tools are beginning to follow)

    While you obviously have fond memories of TeamBG, I would suggest you try checking out some of the other, thriving Infinity Engine modding communities that are around. Hopefully you'll find the spirit you were looking for.
