[IMG] Hey all! I just picked up a new firewall program for my pc...It's pretty nice! A friend of mine also sent me a link to a website that tests your firewall's capabilities...If you want to give it a try, go www.grc.com Click on "Shields Up" :borg:

It'll test damn near everything! I passed!

hmm yeah i've tried that once for my windows partition. no problems. And I had a free tiny personal firewall which took about one megabyte only :)

i don't understand why people use huge system consuming programs like norton etc..

    Because of the name :p
I don't use a firewall anyway. No use as long as I am in a network where another PC is the ICS server and I don't know and I don't care whether that one has a firewall, it's not mine.

[IMG] Thumbs up for ZoneAlarm and the Jana-Server.
With those two freeware tools i have built up a home-LAN (3 PC's sharing one ADSL connection) that passed all tests i tried.

Btw thanks for the URL Bel.
