    What is THAC0?
I can't find it in my manual.
Is it better to be minus or plus?

THAC0 is "To Hit Armor Class 0"

It can be found from manual, because I myself read it from there. :)

Can't remember the page, 'cause I'm in work now (blah, here I am answering your questions when I should be doing some work :D).

For example, if you have THAC0 of 15, and your enemy has AC of 3, you need 15-3=12 with 20-sided dice to hit him. The lower THAC0 you have, more easier you hit opponents.

If your opponent has, let's say -3 AC, you need 15-(-3)=18 to hit him. Got it? :)

Turn on the dice rolls so you can view them in the status screen. Otherwise, natural AC is not known to players and they usually figure them out after fighting the same foul beast a few times in their lives.
