Thaxll'ssillyiafirkraagnizidramanii'ytadalon. One Dragon To Rule Them All

One Dragon to rule them all, One Dragon to find them / One Dragon to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

Thaxll'ssillyiafirkraagnizidramanii'ytadalon woke up in her dark and moisturous cave. She had another bad feeling. It was the fifth only in a few days. Or perhaps weeks. She didn't take much notice of the human calendar. Seasons and years even decades just passed by, like goblins fleeing from the eminent threath of a fireball. She was a great white scaled wyrm. An Ancient Wyrm even. Perhaps even the most ancient of them all to have wrecked havoc in the planes of existence. No one really knew of it. Many a dragon gods had claimed that they were the greatest. But they were just hatchlings when her reign had lasted for eons. She actually didn't care. The last few decades she had been too fat to leave her cave anyway. The outside realm was just living in her memory now. She should never have eaten that pack of greater werewolves. Their amazing regeneration abilities were so bad for her diet. *sigh* She flung a fireball against the wall. A few bats screeked at the sudden interruption. "Pestering moisture" "Even a dragon can catch a cold in this climate."

Good an evil had no meaning to her. But lately the balance had been disrupted. Thaxll'ssillyiafirkraagnizidramanii'ytadalon grunted. As any ancient wyrm would grunt, spreading small cones of fire, dimly lighting up her cave. Bothersome, she lifted one of her fingers and scratched another line on the wet cave wall with her sharp claw. Five lines now. Five dragons had died lately, she pondered. And by the same source.
hmmm. "Aluando!" she snarled. A deep roar echoed through the cave tunnels.

Her faithful slave Aluando. Now where was he? There is nothing a good imprisonment for a thousand years can do to a prophet to make him as easy as clay to form. Thaxll'ssillyiafirkraagnizidramanii'ytadalon had met him scribing some foolish doom over mankind way back on a wonderfull spring morning with bards and birds singing praises. He was rambling about God sons and terror and apocalypse and other tedious human activities. She had convinced him to be her amusement. She couldn't really remember whether she charmed him or actually convinced him. He was a good slave though. Although rather insane after his treatment. He keept talking of some damned Abyss and staring into it, Thaxll'ssillyiafirkraagnizidramanii'ytadalon pondered. "Perhaps I should have settled with 500 years of imprisonment." She grinned as an ancient wyrm would grin; spreading small cones of fire in short bursts, dimly lighting up her cave.
    "Aluando!" she grew impatient.

"Yesss!," he laughed hysterically while scratching his face impatiently. He had sneaked up behind her. He was twisting his body looking to be in agonizing pain. "The lord of murder shall perish..." he started chanting in a panicked voice blinking his eyes maniacally. He crumbled into a corner and began to shiver and cry in terror. "...but in his death he shall spawn a score of mortal progeny" He ceased in a wailing breath, pressing up against the cave wall. Thaxll'ssillyiafirkraagnizidramanii'ytadalon hissed silently not spreading any cones of fire. Perhaps it hadn't been wise, feeding him with potions of youth in all these eons. Afterall a solitaire life is hard to grasp for mortals, she thought. She made her voice as gentle as possible. Which wasn't at all gentle in any way. It still would have made most men stand paralyzed. "Aluando dear, you wrote those words ages ago, even for a dragon as I. And after I freed you, you were.. let us say delusional?" "And Now!" Her voice changed into an angry hiss. She strode to her mighty feet and threw her head back as if she would fill the cave in a raging firestorm. Her voice thundered. "And Now! Five of my kin have been slain because a mortal believes in your moronic words...!" Aluando caught her pausing for a split second.
"...Chaos Shall be sown in their footsteps!" Aluando cried out in obvious pain, intimidated by Thaxll'ssillyiafirkraagnizidramanii'ytadalon anger and the fact that he had, once again, uttered his mighty prophecy. "Stop it already, fool!" She snatched furiously at him spreading vapors of fire out in the cave. "You are even more impossible this century than the last!" she continued.

And so it was that the intrepid adventurers, Heroes of Trademeet, one day in the near future would find themselves locked up in a dark cave for all eternity. Here they would spend their days of immortality writing their own sinister... or fulfilling prophecies for other adventures not yet born, in the presence of their master. The wise Aluando. And so goes, the circle of life. For here in Thaxll'ssillyiafirkraagnizidramanii'ytadalon's lair all adventurers' prophecies from around the realm spring forth. And Chaos will indeed be sown, if not in their footsteps, then by their hands.

One Dragon to rule them all, One Dragon to find them / One Dragon to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

[IMG] Thx guys and pretty women. :xx:

Tasohan I am just stalling that Horton Saga/Glamour lenght story Boosville. I don't have the energy to write a series, so I'll settle with more or less talented short stories. :)
