The 2005 Game Developers Conference Europe has been scheduled on the 30th of August, according to the announcement cited by Gamasutra. Here's it:

The CMP Game Group has announced the 2005 Game Developers Conference Europe (GDCE), which will take place Tuesday, August 30th through Thursday, September 1th at London's Le Meridien Hotel.

TIGA (The Independent Games Developers Association) – the leading organization representing independent developers from the UK and Europe – is the premier sponsor of the event, which will be the fifth annual GDC Europe conference.

The GDCE conference program builds upon the Future Vision theme, unveiled at the 2005 Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco this past March, and will feature three days of lectures, keynotes, panels, tutorials and roundtable discussions. Specific details of speakers will be announced in the near future on the official GDC Europe website.

“We are delighted to bring the superior content and high quality speakers the GDC is known for to the game development community in Europe,” said Jamil Moledina, Director of the Game Developers Conference.

"TIGA is delighted to be working with CMP as the premier sponsor of the Game Developers Conference Europe,” said Ian Baverstock, Chairman of TIGA. “Bringing the experience of the team behind the world's leading game developer conference to GDCE is just what our members were hoping for and we look forward to supporting this event as it brings high quality sessions covering the issues that matter to our members to Europe this August."

[GDCE is presented by the CMP Game Group, organizers of the Game Developers Conference and Serious Games Summit, and publishers of Game Developer Magazine and Gamasutra.com.]
