Ah. D&D. You can't cram an adventure in an hour and 30 minutes. Most D&D campaigns span generations and are giant epics and that's where the true lure is to many gamers who continue to play Pen and Paper.

The effects look good, but the story and everything else will blow. They should have made it span 5 movies or so, much like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings (although 3 movies each), allow more depth than just 1 movie.

i just saw an ad for it on tv, it looks like a cool action movie... though i dont think it should have the name of D&D because theres no way they will be following all the rules. It should just be another fantasy-action movie... but not d&d related

I like the effects used in the movie; however, I don't think any of the Wayans Brothers should be in it! I hope their presence will not ruin the movie.

yea, if they are gunna do it, i hope they dont try comedy in all the wrong situations (somesituations call for it.. but fighting dragons would not) since the movie is prolly like 90% done now... i hope the maker was a good judge of character(and not looking for ratings)

I say what the hell, why not make a D&D movie. I've been waiting quite awhile for one. It can't be any worse than Willow or LadyHawk! (What am I saying, that flick did have some cool disco riffs!)

I know it will be tough to live up to the D&D name, but lets just wait and see, we might be suprised. I'm really looking forward to the Lord of the Rings.
