The best BG: ToB good party

    Since's there's a thread for evil parties, how about one for good parties.

    Keldorn - straight Paladin
    Anomen - Cleric of Helm x/ Fighter 4, I know he gets flamed a lot for his swagger and everything else, but you've gotta admit, he kicks butt in BG2.
    Jaheira - Druid x/ Fighter 4
    Aerie - Cleric of Lathander/ Sorcerer, it helps to have a secondary damage caster and healer. Sorcerer makes a little more sense for her since Charisma enhances undead turning and Sorcerer spells.
    Minsc - Ranger/ Barbarian
    Imoen - Tiefling Wizard x/ Rogue 1
    Tiefling could come across as a loose rendition of her Bhaalspawn heritage. The Tiefling's +2 Intelligence also allows her to pump up Disarm Traps and Open Locks, which is the only two of her thief skills in BG2 that got used anyway.

    I almost always played with following squad:
    Me - wildmage
    Yoshimo/Immoen - yoshimo was in my party until i reached Spellhold than i used Immoen
    Aerie
    Keldorn
    Minsc
    Valygar

    That sounds good party, but I have two questions about it. :)

    Is one level of rogue enough for Imoen? I haven't finished IWD2 yet, but I have needed Open lock and Disable device quite much. Or would she have so high INT, that she could use her skill points from wizard to thieving skills?

    And about Minsc - how many levels of barbarian should he take?

    Disable device? I'm almost through the game, and I haven't used it once.

    What have you had to use it on? I've been fine without.

    Guys, I've already sent the soundsets to Tal so the party will be even more authentic when they are finally up on the site.

    I played the same party as Beren but with Haer'Dalis instead of Minsc, because I need a bard. Yes, he's not actually good, but...

    The one thing I found annoying was that everyone pretty much dumps on the NPC's stats in BG2, but to be able to get even close to their actual stats you would have to cheat via Dalekeeper. You get ripped off between 5 and 15 points for their stats!
