The best Shadows of Amn Item Pack

I need to know what the best item pack is for this great game. The only cool thing I've gotten that's cool is a +6 Volcano Sword that gives a fighter 100% fire resistance, 40% magic resistance, immunity to Timestop,and the ability to cast Firestorm and Earthquake. Any cool items like that that anyone knows about?

 

Crikey! Now that's an overpowered sword if i've ever seen one!

 

I prefer "Captain Tadeus' Rapier of Lingering Yarn". Instant death with no saving throw... and no class restriction!

Now seriously, I don't normally use any item packs, so I wouldn't know. An overpowered weapon takes the challenge from the game, IMO.

Thor: With a name like Karnage the Impaler what would you expect?

Perhaps you can creat your own weapon -- the Eviscerator from PST would do well, killing most opponents with one blow.

I created a +5 halberd with a level drain ability a while ago, because I was trying to find the last piece of a magic halberd in Throne of Bhaal and failing miserably. I think it was only moderately overpowered, not much more so than other Throne of Bhaal weapons. I even wrote (what I thought was) a cute backstory for it.

 

Well, i suppose there are a bunch of neat items in the itemupgrade mod, ranging from handy to owerpowered. I think you might find at least something there. I haven't tried any other itempacks. (except the red-dragon summoning scroll, now that was fun )

[edit:] Oohh, just remembered, the itemupgrade mod allows you to make the improved impaler too btw, fits your name doesn't it?

 

Thanks guys! I'm gonna try that "Improving" program. I just hope it's not too complicated to learn. I'm new to mods and all these technical things. I used to just pop in a game and play. But hey, where's the fun in that?!
