Who votes that Boo should have a special ability to aid Minsc, if so, what would it be.

For me it would be like a familiar (like one for a protagonist spell user) who can locate evil so that Minsc can chow down on the evil Boo locates (and yes he can also spy from afar on other things to )

 

eye biter! 2d3+1 damage, saving throw for half

 

i do think that he should have some ability rather than the infamous "take up some room in your inventory" move.

 

how about the "boo squeak" that uh...does something with the likes of the horn of blasting maybe?

How about a % chance to blind an enemy (after all, Boo is going for the eyes, right?)

he should have somehting like those nice dragon moves, that Firkraag does. How about a fire spitting giant space hamster (in Boo's case some less fire since he is a miniture giant space hamster)

how about like the swarm spell. The Boo spell would act in the same way except he would go up a mages trouser leg and nibble him about a bit.
If that doesn't disrupt your spell casting then what will!

 

Boo should get "Tie Shoelaces" an ability that allows him to tie enemy shoelaces together so that they trip and fail at whatever they were doing, be it casting spells or fighting. However, each time he uses the ability there is a 10% chance he gets stepped on

 

did they even have shoelaces back then?

 

Surely they had something to keep their shoes/boots from flying off their feet whenever they ran or kicked or anything. Of course not all enemies wear shoes/boots, dragons for instance or beholders, there Boo is just out of luck.

How about the ability to bite in someones hands, so that they drop their weapon on the ground? Now THAT would be very very useful. (Think of that mace +5, +2 cold damage or something, which drops on the ground, so you can pick it up and defeat it's legal owner(well, he probably killed the first owner) with it!

 

How about like Dudette said using his squeak, but instead of doing damage it could act like a bard song.
Then you could get all the good points of a bard without having to take up space with one in your party!!!!!!!!!!

 

ah... how bout... one where Boo jumps into the enemy's clothes and bites where the sun don't shine?

 

What about giving Boo the Hamster Mob ability. Just like Morte's Skull Mob ability in PS:T except it would be a group of hamsters charging in.

They definately should do something with Boo. The taking up his quick item slot is a little unfair for a non usuable item!

Even your familiar has more uses then Boo.
