    Ok, I just finished this book, and I am a bit confused. In the end of "The Chaos Curse" When Cadderly starts to build "The Spirit Soaring" (The new temple to Deneir and Oghma), It is said that it will be finished five years later, and that he would die, from the strain of building the place. But how come, in one of the Drizzt Books (Can't remember which one. Perhaps Servant of The Shard?) Cadderly is alive and young, and can destroy the Crenshinibon?

    Is there some sequel I dont know about?

    If I remember correctly the Drizzt book in question had some explanation to do with it all being a test of Cadderly's faith and thus his vitality was restored after the temple was completed.

    You are exactly right JSBB, Cadderly knew(or thought he knew) that it was his destiny to build the spirit soaring and that it would kill him. But because of his faith he began getting young again. Great series of books.

    *shudder* I forced my way through the entire Quintet this summer and even though it was somewhat entertaining at times it felt like reading: Harry Potter: The simplified version or something.

    Because of his faith and total willingness to sacrafice his own young life to build Deneir's great temple, the god grants Cadderly his life back - after he finishes the temple, he comes very near to death, but then begins getting younger again. Keep reading. :D

    Yeah when he's done he almost dies but Deneir grants him life, but he is aged. In the book where Drizzt and Cattie Brie end up at Spirit Soaring he explains it and also explains that he is beginning to feel younger.
