    I used to post in the Interplay forums before they vanished abruptly with that company's demise, and it was a lively interactive place that I enjoyed. I'm wondering if they moved en masse to some other site--I miss some of my old friends/antagonists--or if they've just dispersed randomly to other sites, in the way I've chosen to post here on Sorcerer's Place after some scouting around. (Great site, by the way. One reason I chose it was because I remembered how often you were referred here for various add-ons and fixes.) I'm not sure if this the proper forum for this post, but any info would be appreciated.

    Greetings. A couple of people here posted in Interplay forums (myself included) before the demise, so you might recognise a couple of people. Official Interplay forums are down, there's no replacement and, to the best of my knowledge, neither have Interplay regulars moved elsewhere en masse on their own.

    The wide majority of Interplay regulars just up and vanished after the Interplay forums died. I've seen many pop up in very various forums, but there's no one gathering point. So you might as well stick here, we're a friendly bunch. :D

    Btw, this should be in Whatnots, moving.

    not long ago, i just pm-ed taluntain about a similiar concern.

    you know, sometime, you can tell how "fragile" this kind of friendship established in a forum can be. Two people can know each other quite well except the real name, real address, real phone number, real look. At first, it seems that this kind of friendship established through exchanges of ideas not exchanges of looks would be better and stronger. But now, there is a third party involved here, if the forum vanished, so is the friendship and this cannot be controlled either by of them. Furthermore, since one has only but two ways to contact the other (forum itself and, if close enough, email) If one had an unfortunate disaster, the other can never know and never cease to speculate.

    i don't know Extremist well and i am sure he had no idea who am i. Saw him sloved some sticky situations others had in icewind dale 2 impressed me that he is an invaluable moderator this forum can have.
