The Divine Sorcerer

I was pondering among all of these new kits that are produced everywhere, how about creating a Sorcerer that casts only cleric spells? I mean, he dont cast arcane, but only Divine spells, and cast them in the same way as a sorcerer would cast arcane spells. Sort of a "Sorcerer of the divine" or whatever. I'm not sure how to put this, but you catch my drift?

Would that be an idea?

 

It should be possible. Someone has already created a Druidic Sorcerer kit.

 

The link on SP is broken though. Atleast, it was when I checked not too long ago. Can someone give a link to where I can find this? I'm really keen on playing this Druidic Sorcerer kit but I never managed to find it.

 

Sounds interesting, but as a role-player it would be quite odd. What did the manual say about sorcerers? That they were descendants of some cretins of power and thus had some of their own? How could they have "divine" power without being a god?

But druidic sorcerer sounds very promising; could have some variation. Any chance of a thief/sorcerer kit? (You know, making Imoen druidic sorcerer/thief? )

 

I believe the manual says that sorcerers get their power from having Dragon or fiend blood in their veins. You could role-play it that a Divine Sorcerer has a deva or planetar's blood in their heritage, or something to that effect.

I think it's a pretty cool idea. You could maybe say that the divine sorcerer is like a certain God's "Chosen" (Cadderly from the Cleric Quintet series comes to mind).
