I finally *sigh* finished TOB, and I was wondering what I did wrong with the ending.

There were rumors floating around that Saravok would turn good. I was hoping to see that happen. I did not make him take the vow to obey, and the few times he entered into dialog with me I treated him with respect.

At the end, however, I did choose to become a good god. That made Jaheria dump me, and I'm guessing that's why Saravok lived out his days as a tormented soul ... sometimes doing good, sometimes doing evil (reminds me of Xena).

If I had chosen to remain mortal, would he have turned out good?

no but if you use the Ascension mod the different NPCs endings will be longer(some even different) and they will change according to alignment changes (like Sarevoks)

Looking through some other posts, it looks like it doesn't matter what course you take at the end of the game, it is what has been said during the dialogues to Sarevok. If he didn't change alignment, I would assume you should have been more virtuous in your dialogues ;) :D.

[IMG] Nah, the NPC dialogues are totally random. You could come to the end of the game without seeing half of them. I managed to finish the game before Aerie had her child, even though the last dialogue she had was exactly about this.

However, if you install Gaider's The Ascension, it will force all of the unseen dialogues as soon as you start the game (save game), and enable you to see all that you've missed.

Hehe, maybe she had a child with you after you became I god and then the child was just like you! Moohoohahaha! This would be even better if you chose to be an Evil god. Can I say BG3?

When was that made? Can somebody, pretty-please, tell me where can I get it?
