I was just browsing the Bg2 cd 1 and looked in the Extra dir.

In there there is some interesting stuff, a few dirs witch are empty :(
and an override dir, Would i get something "extra" if I copied those into the installed games dir (in the override dir) ?

That extra dir realy made me curious, what if that is something they were planning to add but left out ? ... or it might just be part of the install and nothing to worry about.

What do you guys think ?
or do you know anything about it ?

You wouldn't get anything extra because there is no extra thing to get.

The extra dir was also on the beta CDs and it didn't contain much then either. Probably a leftover from the time when Bioware still intended to add the Arena mode to BG2. (Deathmatch style.) But this was cut out long before the game shipped.

Then it must just be leftovers, since there is indeed an arena dir within the extra dir on the first CD.

Thank you for the info about the beta version and such :)
*I had no idea that they intended to have some deathmatch thing in Bg2*
