[IMG] Okay - this is the Folly of Gat and is totally random :rolling:

'Tis a stor/y/history BTW - bound to be odd ;)

When Chirofen was young in the eyes of evolution and the fourteenth age finally came to a close there came the Rise of the fifteenth - and the rise of Dragonkind. From the deepest darkest oceans andthe tallest mountains they exist from then and now on.

Yet none of this would have happened if it was not for the Start of it all, the Gods and the Chrophenisks.

Many a deity has died and gone to the Void of non-existance, a place so dead even mortals cannot comprehend it's existance and know not of it.

The wars leading to the end of the previous age had been tough on mortal and immortal alike, yet both ended those few sorry days leading to the demise.

However misterious appearences of one God, the Survival of another and four others taking the place of their parents left the world with Six deities to rebuild the broken, dead, lands.

The only other survivors (Apart from the God, four mortals, 12 spirits, 3 demi-gods and a spoon) were the Chrophenisks - the largest dragons in the Planeverse. Huge black scaled lizards with transparent crimson wings and four sets of golden horns and flowing hair on their horse-like heads made them a sight to behold, their flaxible talons could kill many in barely a swipe and their tails had deadly barbs, spikes and bludgeons.

One of these (most respected) beasts was Therinforystorn who was the oldest and wisest of his kind who had sight to the past and future and even the present. He realised the evil of his kind and their role to play in the destruction of the next ages. Including the perfect age (sixteen if anyone was wondering) He flew through the three planes gathering followers and earning respect, awe, fear and enemies. For he wished to aid the Gods in creating the world as best as it couldbe - seeming as his kind had helped destroy it before.

Yet his rival had gathered a mass of followers bent on the destruction of the Gods - beings of pure chaos opposed to Therinforystorn who had formed a group ogf beings of Law and wisdom. Seeing this he bade his followers stayed in the Phoenix Mountain on the middle plane (Chritch) while he dealt with his opponents.

He killed many enemies in a space of a few decades and finally it came to a cat and mouse chase between the two Rivals. Gat and Therinforystorn. Yet our good guy Theri was old compared to mean old Gat who was younger and trained longer in fighting his own people - why they were so weak being ritually beaten to hone their masters' skill.

To the delight of our Hero (you try writing Therinforystorn over and over  ) his followers were willing to sacrifice themselves to grant the strength he needed to survive. He devised a way to keep his followers alive yet use their powers and summon more at will, yet by doing so attracting Gats' attention, and his wrath

The ensueing battle lasted 12 decades, 11 months, 16 days, 13 hours, 45 minutes and 16 seconds - according to the diaries of the God, Anmin, who was very particular to time.It finally ended however in the great plane belonging to the aforementioned God, Casrower - lower plane. Where Therinforystorn drew upon all the power his friends possessed killing many of them in his desperate hour as he drew the power he glowed and for the first and last time Gat knew fear, for a few second sonly as he soon laughed as even then the deaths of his followers weakened his foe and caused him to stumble in his flight, yet still he prevailed slamming Gat into the continent forcing him deep into the earth where his corpse became the gems and resources mined by the Gnomes in the Country of Ruby-tree. Yet a scar is left in the land known as Gats' Dent.

As for our valiant long named hero, distraught at the loss of his friends yet blessed by the Gods he lives on - advising the foolish mourning the loss of a proud race of creature - for now only he and seven others remain, six frozen in a permanent fashion as their master lives and and plans to free them one day.

From the death of the Crophenisks rose new Dragons new types and millions of the buggers swarming over and under the land, through air and water, yet whether or not they know - they are ruled by the last Chrophenisk. As Humans, centaurs and the other races were created from the creator in the heavens thus ended the fifteenth age, the shortest yet.

Nowadays his hobbies include helping the Gods - who have gained two new members, now forming The Eight.

Told you it was random :p

[IMG] It's a history of a place in Chirofen

One day when I am more sane, I may write it better, until then :rolling: #

it's basically 2 dragons have a fight and the mark it has left upon the world.

    This is interesting.

There is only one problem: we are alienated from this. Names like Therinforystorn are hard to remember, and we just may lose track of things. I believe that the monsters and peoples of Chirofen may be diverse, but they are so alien to us, that we will never be able to grasp them well.

[IMG] I know, it was just a random spur-of-the-moment burst of history coming into light and text.

Chirofens' time acts in ages, just as our ice ages, stone age, iron age,

Theirs are times of evolution, endings of races (like our dinos) have significant effects and spark the beginning of new things, it's just about one time.

it is not explicit to Chirofen either, it explains death of Gods, how actions of few can cause most effect.

Though admittedly most is on Chirofen, perhaps when I get my site up and running things shall be clearer.
