[IMG] Demonstrate your ignorance of world geography. Here it is:

    http://www.geographyolympics.com/

Very simple - you just have to correctly locate 10 randomly chosen countries on a map of the world. The leaderboard is very embarrassing for Americans and New Zealanders as entrants from those two countries rank outside the top 100 in the world. Not good. New Zealanders only average 5.8/10 correct responses.

How well can you (and your nation) do? It's not as easy as it looks. I got 7/10.

I did well. Got 9/10 with Norway, Peru, Mozambique, Germany, Togo, Ethiopia, Albania, Uzbekistan (got wrong), Lesotho, and Malaysia. I feel so proud to have raised Nebraska's average by 0.041%.

My country is not one of the choices of which country to represent.

7/10. It tells me I clicked on South Africa for Chad and Chad for Papua New Guinea. Seriously, I know where those countries really are. Seriously. The only one I didn't know is Armenia (mixed it up with Georgia).

[IMG] I always sucked at geography, and this was no exception. I know general locations, but specifics are another matter.

    4/10

But at least I got New Zealand right! :D

I thought my geography was quite good but I suck at this. I'm especially having trouble with all the former Soviet Union countries as I can never remember which one is which (apologies to anyone from one of these countries who may be reading).

Sorry, it's just that I haven't had as long to get to learn those countries as I have ones that have been countries my whole life (like, say, France).

I always get the hard ones, just like Joacquin.

The exception is that I also always get Canada.

    Splunge, remove that curse NOW!

I second that. So many small polygons that I never knew had a name.

First time got 4/10. Second time had names I've never heard of before.

2 out of 10 on the first go, but I got alot of countries I have never heard of, let alone know where they are.

5 out of 10 on the second go, though I think it really depends on which countries you get. I mean, even I know where Australia is.

Oddly enough, I selected Paraguay twice, and was wrong both times. At least I got the right continent.

Nauru is in the Pacific Ocean near the equator, west of the Solomon Islands.
