    I wonder what other artists they will deem to be so uncool as to send youths running. I love the bit about 'no self respecting chav would be caught dead listening to Cliff Richard'. :D

    they use classical music some places like trainstations etc. in order to "scare" off the junkies otherwise sitting and fixing at the public places

    so maybe this could work, but it seems kinda far fetched

    They use a similar method at the Copenhagen Central Station. The stairs to the back entrance used to be a "fixing space" for addicts until they started playing loud classical music. It has actually proved successful.

    I like Cliff Richard and classical music - but then, I don't use drugs, and I am only young on the inside. :p

    Not only could it well work (Differences in musical taste have kept me from enjoying local night'life')... It's also a pretty cool way of handling the situation.
