    What were you playing, and who was in your party when you had the most fun playing Baldur's Gate II with no mods installed?

    I'm trying to think of a new party, with good banter, mostly good aligned that will be a whole lot of fun to play. Any ideas you could give me by sharing what you've had the most fun with will be appreciated.

    My last really fun unmodded party consisted of:
    Me
    Minsc
    Jaheira
    Jan
    Viconia
    Nalia
    I was also carrying Lilacor so there was maybe a little too much fun banter. Jan has cute dialogues with Minsc and Viconia.
    I understand Edwin is fun and intend to try him out in my current game.
    I know you said no mods, but if you ever decide to try one, Kelsey has some great banter with just about everyone. I ran a party with Kel instead of Nalia and it was lots of fun too.

    Minsc and Jan have the funniest dialogues and interactions in the game, with any charecter.
    Edwin's abuses are sort of funny. Have Minsc and him in the same party for some added fun.
    Korgan and Mazzy may be entertaining for a little while.
    Stay clear of Valygar and Anomen, they are the most dour of all NPCs and I dont remember any good interactions with them.

    As long as you have Minsc in your party you´re all set. The rest of the NPC´s aren´t much 'fun' IMO, they just make conversation. Minsc however even entertained my dad when I lived at his place for a while. And that says alot if you know my dad :)

    2) Flirt pack
    3) Imoen romance
    4) Concurrent romances patch
    5) Immy + Vic + Aeris = :love: :spin:
    6) Add Minsc (prob. with lilarcor) (I usually have also Jaheira, but that's just my preference)

    Another funny combination is Anomen and Haer´Dalis. That bard is always so funny... I love him!

    PC can be anyone. Edwina's dialogue with Minsc and Jaheira is absolutely hilarious and I really love Keldorn and Minsc's interactions. Imoen's in there because I wouldn't dare playing a game without her.

    Oh, make no mistake, minsc kills Edwin good. I found Keldorn and Anomen had pretty neat banters, as Anomen is sort of aspring to be the kind of person Keldorn has been for a long time. I love the banter where Valygar puts that talkative gnome punk Jan in his place too. Haer' Dalis has some pretty neat banters as well, but he's just an interesting character in general. At last.... oblivion!

    Shazamdude: agreed totally. there's something to be said for a character who's so different he enjoys killing butchers horribly.

    I say HD all the way (but then I never did like minsc). I'm just starting an evil party of my thief, Viconia, Korgan and Edwin and I find some of the conversations very amusing.

    Edwin. Definitely Edwin. He's the key.... He has some very nice dialogue with Viccy :blush: as well as others... and his line about blasting paladins, fallen or not, is just about priceless :D
