There is a point I'm writing this, that point is, I'm bored! So, take the role of a god and lets get on with it, the result will hopefully a resonably well developed world made through roleplay with us as gods.
Any volenters to start off?

Do it have to be an already written in god or can we just make them up?

Sniper sits upon his thrown in his bedroom. There he has his miniture and plastic servants ... toy soldiers! He gazes at one and orders it to get him some food and it yet disobeys him by standing still. Sniper gets angry and disintergrates it with an energy orb.

"Eat!"

Sniper then gets up and trumbles off down to Sorcerers Place's fridge in the kitchen all the while grumbling about not being able to get the staff nowadays ...

 

In the before-time the fathers and mothers of our people did roam freely in the green lands and drink in the sunlight. 'Twas a happy time, but 'twas not to last. For the Great Strangers did come and they were terrible indeed. A full half again did they tower over the heads of our forefathers, and they did kill many and did steal our lands.

And so it came to pass that the fathers of our people were driven out, and did wander for many years without direction. And the wandering was a harsh time, for there was no food but what could be scavenged in the wilderness, and there was constant peril of attack from wild beasts and from the Strangers.

It did come to pass in the tenth year of the wandering that the elder of the tribe did chance to spy a strange light in the sky. And the elder did decree that our people should follow that light, and it would lead them to a place of safety. For two long months did our ancestors follow the light, until the came upon the sacred mountain, the name of which is lost to antiquity. And they did labour to ascend the mountain.

A half-way up the mountain the fathers and mothers of the people did spy a truly wonderous sight, to this did the light lead them. A cave mouth tunnelled deep towards the mountain's heart and before it sat a mighty rock, in likeness of a head, but the height of both the tallest warriors 'pon each others' shoulders. And in the beard of that mighty head were the signs of meteoric iron. And the people did fall to their knees and give great thanks.

Sniper returns from his raid of the kitchen and sighs. He had to disintergrate the cook for trying to stop him.

"Damn. I always liked her ... pity. Its just too bad we don't have to staff nowadays."

Sniper looks out of the window in his room and spots a dragon flittering about. Feeling bored he teleports himself onto the dragon

"Woah boy! woah! You wanna eat?"

The dragon grunts "yeah"

"Then lets go! Lets raid the vast kitchens of Extremist! He has plenty of er ... things to eat, chew, suck, drink, and er ... yes"

Sniper grins to himself and the duo now take off into the night heading for Extremist's mansion thing...

 

Shadow Goddess, or Syrus, rests in the shadow of a great elm, noting a butterfly fluttering around her nose. She swats it away gently and gets up to see a dragon fly above her. She flows to the dragon's shadow and follows under it, wondering where it's going.

Suprised to see Syrus reach Extremist's house, she stops and a wave of shadows deepen as she touches the roses of the house. The goddess is not a bit suprised to find out there is not a hint of spam in the rose, but more flaming than usual.

 

"On ward and into the wall my friend! The treasures are well worth it!"

The duo crash head first (well, Sniper is now using the dragon's head as a shield) into the wall...

It takes a few moments for the air to clear and much to their surprise and delight is a mountain of suculent food mixed with a horde of gold!
The dragon grins a toothy grins and launches itself into the mountain of food... Sniper takes a chicken leg and leaves knowing full well that if the dragon be caught within a matter of moments that it'll be turned into something small and squashable

"Enjoy while you can friend, but make haste. We don't want to alert Extremist now do we?"

Sniper waves and takes a step out of the gaping hole in the side of Extremist's tower. He immediately falls ...

While falling, Sniper calmly finishes off his chicken leg and embraces the ground as it nears.

There is a loud THUMP.

A matter of minutes pass and a figure picks him self up from the blown up mushroom cloud of dust. The figure weezes, blesses the squirel that he flattened which was strategically placed to cushion his groin. He looks around for a moment, picks up the squashed squirel, snaps his fingers and roasts it. After a few minutes, he takes a bite into the roast squirel's ear and rests under a nearby tree, admiring a figure observing Extremist's tower...

 

S Goddess rounds the corner of the house to find out what made the thump. She sees Sniper eating a freshly roasted squirrel and scowls at him. "Don't you have any respect for other things?! Sheesh, and where's that damned dragon you left? Don't you think Extremist will be a tee-bit mad about it?"

S Goddess goes back to the roses and snaps one off so she can tease Wildfire with it.

 

"Hmm? I've given the dragon ample enough warning to get his fiery soon to be turned cold butt outer there..."

Sniper grins and finishes off the squirel. He takes a few moments to observe S Goddess, laughs and gets up. He winks at S Goddess and blows a kiss at her which places itself lightly on her cheek. He smiles and then allows the wind currents to carry himself off back towards his room in the Sorcerer's Palace...

 

And in the caverns of that mountain, did the fathers and mothers of our people find great cities hewn from the rock. And they did find the ancient writings that described the birth of the people and the construction of these places in the mountains for the people to flee to in time of peril. And these writings did become the basis of The Book of the Iron Beard

Aikanaro was wandering around the great towers of Sorcerers Place, bored out of his mind. There were few people around, only Arabwel over by the alleyway with her stall of ***** slapping and cloak of unpracticallity +2. She was muttering some strange things under her breath. Something about monkeys and Kelsey.
Sulking around on a rooftop was Headbanger practising his normal strange behavior.
Aikanaro sighed, Sorcerers Place (Heaven) was getting a bit boring.
He headed off for his house, a great big wooden affair with his latest gem on a great big pedastel at the front.
Checking his swords were where he left them he headed for the room of magic, a room that he had only gained at great cost from a mage in discuise (probably just Tal).
He opened up a large wooded container and took a small rod from it and tapped it in the edge a few times. A blinding light flashed through the room and all of SP, and a new world was born, where he could build his own derranged lunitics instead of meeting them...

 

In the alleyway, Arabwel the Annoyed was quite busy untangling the Cloak of Unpracticality from her Staff, Elg'caress. She had been quite happily playing BG2 with all the possible MODs on her Ancient Laptop (tm) when the Cloak had decided to entangle her legds, the staff, and a passing monkey. Adter releasing the nearly strangled stray simian, she decided to stop gaming and check out if there was anything worth doing in the Halls of SP.

Sniper was currently flying around, S Goddes was standing around with a rose, and Aikanaro was nowhere in sight. Nodding to Headbanger who was on a nearby rooftop, Ara decided to go to see if Ezellohar had stopped playing around with the One Sean Bean. On the second thought, she decided against it. She did not want to walk in on anything... not after turning around a corner and witnessinf Tal, Mystra, a few ropes and an octopus. Instead, she went to the Room of Imaginary objects to see what she could do with a world.

All was quiet in the shadow of the Great Tower. The would-be dragon-rider had retreated in his halls, while the other entities were busy creating Worlds of their own. Unknown to anyone was the menace that lurked in the darkness. For The Hiddens had been disturbed by the actions of the Gods.

For centuries uncounted They have slept under the quiet mountain. For eons without beginning or end They watched through their nightmares the Universe above. It was the time for the elders to retake what was rightfully theirs. It was the time of The Purge.

And so it came to pass that The Hidden Powers awakened The Bane Of The Gods to bring utter destruction to the Home Of The Sorcerer.

The name of the Creature was older than Time, forged in a language long forgotten. It was known as r'Hant, The Saviour, God of Death.

IC: Aikanaro had been playing around with his new world for a while now trying to make it the right shape to fill the box. Unfortunatly the plane of existance in a box decided that it would rather spread itself out and be a proverbial pain in the ass.
He sighed and gave up on roundness, a squareish world would do fine, he just couldn't imagine the furure travel problems he was creating.
He dropped in a few mountains and a few forests, a bit of everything realy.
Then he created a bunch of races, nothing too flash yet, just a few humans and somethings for them to eat. He closed the box then and left the magic room to get some inspiration from Baldurs Gate.

 

Sniper reaches his bedroom window and looks about ... his servants - his plastic soldiers, hadn't done much ... in fact, they had remained totally were they were.

"Lazy bits of plastic!"
Sniper screams and disintergrates several of them! Being a lesser-god was hard work and he well awaits his chance to ascend into the halls of the Greater gods ... he knows his ceremony is only a matter of weeks away till he ascends ...

Sniper breathes a sigh and decides to raid the fridge again...

 

A few hours after he had left his world creating schemes to play BG a tiny lightbulb in Aikanaro's small brain clicked on. "Oh bugger," he said outloud and jumped up (quickly quicksaving) and ran of to the magic room and pulled out the box and opened it.
The world (to his annoyance) had disappeared, he'd forgotten to cast permenancy.
"Oh well, that world sucked anyway, elves have to be created first," he thought to himself, this time deciding not to just make the world the quick way and do everything properly.
"But not at this hour, those luneies Marnix and Arabwel miht still be around," he thought and went back to Baldurs Gate.

 

Shadow Goddess appears in front of Sniper's fridge. "If you were mortal, you'd be as fat as a PIG. You should go on a diet. Bad for godly health, you know?!" Shadow Goddess then pats Sniper's chest hard. "Need to exercise more and use less dragons and magic." She grins evilly and disappears once more.
