The Riddle Game

Another game post, but this one doesn't involve guessing quotes.
The rules are ridiculously complicated, but here are the basics:

We play a game of riddles (like in The Hobbit) - someone thinks of a riddle, someone else guesses it, that person thinks of a riddle and then we go again.
You can't pull a Bilbo and ask question in place of a riddle unless someone tries to answer it, but try to use only riddles.
All the usual stuff (IJR, no googling etc.) are also part of the rules.

Now to start off the explosion (hopefully) a riddle laughably easy and stupid:

When is a door not a door?

EDIT: I'm introducing a new rule:
The next time someone doesn't ask a true riddle, anyone can invoke the rite of KtB (Kill the Bilbo) and ask a new riddle.
A riddle must be solvable without having to know the answer beforehand. To keep the game fun though, the riddle shouldn't require you to know some really obscure piece of information, otherwise you just annoy everyone (when I say obscure, I mean something that requires you to, for example, be a rocket scientist).

As an afterthought, if you think someone wrongly KtBs a riddle, then assume he/she is a complete idiot and give a hint on how it's solved.

@Terthe: I've known that riddle for meny years, and when I saw it on Brainagle's (I was looking for an actual hard one) I couldn't resist using it. Besides, it was already typed out for me. So yes...and no.
