The Ritual - Possible Spoilers

    I just finished wasting the Yellow Dragon to complete The Ritual mod.

    Anyway, I hit the High Priestess only once to disrupt the ritual and then she turned into a pile of goo on me. When I came back to Watcher's Keep, Pontifex reams me out for killing her. Of course, he reveals his true form and goes ape**** on me. Wasted me the first time before I thought out a successful strategy.

    So I reloaded to before I talked to Pontifex the first time. Went to the glade, slept a couple of times to let the ritual take place. Went back. He's still burned at me because the completion of the ritual means her death as well.

    So one of my questions is: Is there truly a way to disrupt the ritual without killing her?

    Second question: Is Menethra also a dragon?

    Third question: Is that ritual meant to transform her into a dracolich?

    I can only answer your first question. Yes. Have a non-monk hit her with an empty hand when she's mid ritual. It disrupts the ritual without killing her (at least it did for me).

    I think Maze would do it as well. Or Imprisonment (followed by Freedom?). Other disabling spells could work, go experiment.

    She is not a dragon.

    I believe that Pontifex tells you the truth about the Ritual, it is something evil to the core. It isn't supposed to turn her to a dracolich, it is supposed to turn all those people there to goo ;) .
