The size of Durlag's tower?

    [​IMG] I went into it, and thought this was going to be a big place with lots of cool stuff. But then I got to what I think is the top and killed Kirinhale and got her hair (what am I supposed to do with that?). I have been outside both on the tower killing basilisks and eliminated all who patroled the walls. Is there nothing more?

    Me too just reached there. Actually there's dungeon under the tower. Just goto the groun floor and click on the LEFT of the stairs. This will lead down, while right leads up.

    I too mislead the first time :)

    Thanks. I remember threads about Chess game in Durlag's tower, and I haven't found anything similar to this. I was starting to get worried.

    There's about 5 times as much below the tower in the dungeon, so settle in for a long ride.

    I'm almost sure pick locks opens locks and disarms traps. Find traps only finds them. And if you haven't got a decent thief, that tower will be pretty mean. Unless you have a find traps skill of 100% and walk *very* slowly you will take horrendous damage from the fiendish amount of traps in there.

    I got to the greater wyverns now, and decided to lay the whole god damn tower on ice for a while. Off to bandit camp and cloakwood now!

    That's probably a good idea since TotSC is the expansion, it was made for a party that was finished (or at least almost) with BG1 rather than a lower level party.

    Durlag's tower was actually the last part of TotSC that I did. I think I did the Werewolves first and the crazy mages second...

    Is it the same with the Ulgoth's beard quests? I managed Sandalar's cloak without trouble, but what with Baldurans treasue?

    I'd wait if I were you... There are some tough fights in close quarters with Werewolves or Wolfweres or maybe both when you go for Balduran's treasure...
