I've been romancing Aerie throughout my game, and finally got to the "sleeping together" point. (Woo Hoo  ) Any way, after the next time we rested she told me she was thinking of leaving "to find herself". So, being a real man :D, I pleaded with her not to go and declared my love for her . She agreed my quest was too important to me, so she'd stay until it was done. Does this mean she's with me till the end of the game now? Or will she have another change of heart? After getting to this point in the game, I read a spoiler in a walkthrough that Aerie's romance will always end "badly" (with her leaving)- this can't be true can it?

    Spoil me gently... thanks.

no, it can work out quite nice... IF, you dont sleep with her, saying it's not real love and so on.

heres a TOB spoiler, a site i read on (cant confirm this to be true or false) but it said
that later you can get aerie back (much like the jahiera leaving thing) cept that theres a point in tob where shes hanging out.. i wish i could find the site in my history, but i cant so... anyway like i said i dunno if this is something he made up or if he had an inside tip... either way it sounds believeable, but it also sounds fake... so u judge.

    More Spoilers

Bowie, I think the bad ending, from what you have done, is that Aerie decides to stay because the quest is important but doesn't she say something about not loving you anymore or feeling exploited or something. In other words the bad thing is that you have hurt the love of your life by giving in to lust. Of course from a game point of view, who cares so long as she is still in the party.

Just to complete the picture. The other bad endings are: she leaves the party (worst), you don't sleep with her (bad for lust good for love).

hey when you go to the drow city i sleot with that woman (phaere i think her name is ) and the romance with aerie broke .
The second time i chose jaheira for my love and when se asked me why i went with the drow i replied her that it wasn't any feeling and that it was good for the party and so the romance didn't broke.

maybe because aerie is an alf and their enemies are drows but i think that jaheira to is an half-elf

Jaheira is just a much more understanding mature and sensible woman who can rise above her own unfounded insecurities for the benefit and safety of the rest of her companions.

Or maybe Aerie is just better at telling you lied your arse off ;)

Just out of interest i would like to ask the makers of bg2 why you can't have a romance with Nalia. Personally i think she is the best one of the lot.

And while i am on the subject of equality.
Would it not make sense that if you played a halfling, Dwarf or gnomish character you could have Mazzy!?
I know it is horrible to think about but they have to make babys some how.

[IMG] Oh yes - my halfling cavalier would *LOVE* Mazzy - Jaheira (his love interest in the last game) is quite nice also but no match for a lawful good halfling girl *sob*

hopefully it will be implemented in BG-2 ToB *deep sob*

Ragusa Has admitted to Use SK to "correct" his race. Fair enough. Even though he probably gives a D*** about our opinions
