Theme party: G... G... Glad-party

After umpteehnth playthru I needed to spice my BG2 experience somehow. I read about these theme-parties in the forum. (short-folk party, misunderstood personalities, all cleric and whatnot)I decided to try something like that. It wasn't easy to come up some fresh theme party idea, but when I read that Chloe would romance either pc or Imoen I figured it out. A Gay(... uhmm I mean Merry) party will do. Don't know if anybody have tried that before but I'll do it anyway.

So, my party will be PC-Solaufein, Imoen-Chloe and... and who else? Do you happen to know any couple who fits in the theme?

Party will have arcane magic and tank plots covered. Any suggestions for pc-class, a cleric? Clerics are trendy right now I think, two guys going with Priest of Lathander-solo. all-cleric party... A heroic priest that comes out of closet? He surely have no skeletons in his closet anymore

Oh this will be a hard run for me. I mean... listening all that Sola's lovetalk

 

Hey, SOla's love talk is the best I saw, he never acts like a...well...like a...'fag', mind you, he only debates pylosophy and his alignment conflicts with the PC. You, as the PC, can ease his mind and end his conflicts, OR give him new questions and dilemmas. The romance has very cool rewards, additional powers&items for SOla, and you will fight the toughest battles ever! Eventually, things will get 'hot' though, so be prepared!

Oh, BTW, a gay priest of Lathander will be funny I guess. Lathander priests love wearing pink, right? So make your PC's clothes deliciously cute pink! Heehee!

PC&Sola, Immy&Chloe, oh they sound soo cute.

Though few PC can be as perverted as mine, he romanced Jaheira, Viconia AND Sola at the same time, never ending love talks and fun!

Umm I don'T know about any other gay couple, for now, sorry.

EDIT: I just found a pure gay romancable NPC, Nathaniel, a male human LG kensai, romancable by males only. He also has one quest, many interactions, and many comments, voicing etc. You want to try? He looks harmless enough.

Oh but Nathaniel's romance has an 'optional' conflict with Sola romance. I doN't know what does 'Optional' mean, can you avoid it?

 

Optional maybe means that if you try to romance both of them at same time. I have to download Nathaniel mod and check readme . Does Nat have a forum?

Umm, I think Sola was the bi-one, as he romances either male or female, Nat is only interested in guys, or does he like ladies too? Chloe is strictly lesbian AFAIK, and now you say Anomen is gay too, OH MY, what a confusion!

One of the creative people in the forums wanted to add some Immy-male PC dialogue if the PC romances with Nat. It is hillarious!

Immy: Wellywellywell <CHARNAME>! Hehe, ya finally came outta the closet? About time! I've always had my suspicions.... I *knew* it!

This is gonna be awesome! We can trade stories, talk about pink fashion stuff and about all the cute guys out there! Hehe, I feel like I've just gained a sister!

What say you? Unfourtunately this dialogue is not implemented in the mod, maybe in future versions or ToB add-on?

 

In the Chosen of Mystra I found couple forums for gay mods. I'm confused.. don't know what to say.

 

Yes, and it is the girl mod-programmers who try those things, mind you! Not real-gays!

That Imoen dialog really is hilarious, and still so Immy-like. She would say something like that I think.

Was that Nalia-romance thingy ready yet? Then I could get three gay couples in my party. That really would "spice up" the BG2.

 

The Optional is for romancing Sola and someone else at the same time. The person (the four 'core' roms and Nathaniel) will object if you continue romancing both people. You will have to choose. Of course, not installing this component will take out any conflict about romancing Sola and the other NPC; ie: the NPC won't say boo about you getting snuggly with Sola.

 

Incidentally, my all-female party will be going once Auren is past beta:

F->D female PC & Viconia
(Most of her LTs are coded with <PRO_MANWOMAN>, so it should work. I also want to try out her "conversion" to TN and see if it's as lame in-game as it seemed when I looked through the dialogues to make my guide)

@Felinoid, this sounds like a cool (at least, interesting) idea! Though it will be hard if someone wants to do it other way, ie:all male-loving party! We have PC, occasional Sola and new and spiffy looking Nat, but that's all? Oh, then again, Anomen with right tweaks. Hehe. Who else?

I checked Nat's a few romance dialogues via forums, it is VERY 'kinky'.

 

Go with Valygar. He is SO in the closet. Trust me.

Really, I don'T think there is a Valygar gay romance mod. Though it can be an inspiring idea for those crazy (I mean, creative!) mod-maker gals!

 

Yeah, male gay romancers get screwed (pun intended ) by the modding community at large. Myself, I'd like to see something develop between Keldorn and Anomen just so that they would both be worrying about going to hell for it. I think it'd be awesome to have options (and consequences) like: depending on how you advise Keldorn on his cheating wife, Keldorn will advise Anomen the same (or opposite) way. It could even lead to Keldorn standing up and professing his love for Anomen should he fail his test, ending up with both of them getting thrown out of the Order. On the other side, they could be fanatically devoted knight and squire should Keldorn advise him rightly, but always careful not to alert the Order lest they suffer some punishment.
