There be dragons

    Hi guys, just clearing up the last part of SoA before heading off to Sundelessar.
    I have ToB installed and various mods (Tactics, oversight, ease of use etc).
    I love trying all the new mods and the challanges they bring (notably the yellow dragon Pontafix) but i am really stumped over this one.
    One of the three areas you have to explore before finding the enterance to Sundelessar had some rather bizzare goings on...
    A purple dragon appeared so i kicked its butt back into the stone age, but then a Red dragon appeared. Let me correct myself, it didnt actually appear but kept hurling fire at my party which gennerally went straight past any magically defenses.
    i tried true sight and dispell illusion, all to no avail.Area effect spells were also useless. Things got even more interesting when an invisible brown dragon appeared and began taking lumps out of me as well!
    Now im all for a challange (bring em on) but this does seem a liitle unfair - i mean the damn thing doesnt seem to exist yet it delivers a huge amount of damage.
    What should i expect next, the whole spectrum of colours forming invisible dragons?!?
    Any thoughts?

    It's part of tactics (tactics = unfair, but that's the whole point of the challenge). Try using fire-resistance rather than magic resistance. Rings, helmets, etc. Also go for the protection from fire scrolls (duration 12 hours), and cast them before you leave (make sure you head for the pass from the Underdark entrance area). As soon as you arrive in the area, quaff a fire resistance potion (one per character). The red dragon is just north of the southern entrance, where you will enter. Also, split up immediately upon arrival, so the dragon breath can't target all of you at the same time. You'll probably have to go to him, since he's content to keep breathing on you. He's not invisible, but he can see and target anywhere in the area, so that's why you can't see him. When you do see him, go to town (greater whirlwind, time stop works, all the usual).

    You've already met the brown dragon, which is the one that likes to turn invisible. But the real master of draconic invisibility is Draconis in ToB. Hint: Planetars can see invisible creatures.

    Yeah...and these bad boys aren't immune to Time Stop, like Pontifex was...so, you know what to do! ;)
