    What city would that be?
And the answer to your question is: leave the city.

Not sure what enjoyment you would even get from binge drinking or drugs, actually.

    What enjoyment do you want?

It is enjoyable or was, but it seems to be the only thing anybody my own age is interested in.

Then hang out with people who aren't your age. Everybody hits a certain point in their life when they will sometimes associate better with people who are outside of their age group.

Plus, who says you need to leave the house anyways. :book:

All the parts of England that I visited did seem to have a deeply entrenched drinking culture. Might not be restricted just to your city.

What would life be like if I never left my house? It seems I am only really attracted to people my own age and all they want to do is binge drink and take drugs which is something I was always into but now it seems like it is the only way to "live"

    ^ yes I do know

Don't have any need of drugs myself. The occasional binge is quite fun though.

After working in a bar for a few months I can easily say that drinking is both pointless and a waste of money. Still, pays my wages I guess... So drink up!

I don't get really drunk much anymore, but I do enjoy a few beers or tequila every once in a while...

Binge drinking do get old after a while. Do not know if you have more of a life without it but at least you arent feeling like crap every sunday and you save some money. Not to mention all the stupid things you do not do.

I used to be all that, from friday to sunday it was the thing to do, now I've found a cirle of friends where we just have a couple down the local, play pool talk and generally have fun, I only go into to the town propa for a binge once a month now, it costs too much and I normally end up getting into fights etc...

I think the thing you have to do is find ppl that like to do other things than just go out and get pissed out of thier faces, but still know how to have a good time, Im 21 and its taken me this long to actually find those types, playing games, a bit of D&D, maybe a nice picnic by the river... although that normally involves getting stoned but thats ok in my book.

Go travelling, I usually go to the mountains, visit 'historical' places of interest such as tombs, alters, standing stones, portal monoliths etc and meet new people. There is more to do than drinking, drugs and fighting. I would rather kill myself than go drinking every week.

I get drink a hell of a lot and get bladdered a lot more than I should. It's nothing to boast about. It's out of habit more than enjoyment to be honest. Never really done drugs though, other than the odd smoke, they just don't interest me. I tried heroine once and it made me feellike ****, was bedridden all the next day****ing awful. So I'll never do that again.
