Time limit on Windspear rescue?

    [​IMG] Do you have to go after the kidnapped girl (boy) in the Windspear Hills or can you go somewhere else and finish the quest later? If i can go but ther's a timelimit can somebody tell me how long is it?

    I'm not sure. I've always gone straight after. I dont talk to Firkraag in the CC until I'm ready to do the whole thing, so I've never tested out if there is a time limit.

    I don't think there is a time limit. I went to the Windspear Hills one time because I was in the Umar Hills, so it wasn't a far walk, just to give the acorns to those dryads. I killed the paladins and Garren's kid was kidnapped, I swore to rescue her, then took off. Did some other quests, then eventually came back and nothing had changed.

    i'm almost 100% positive that there's no time time limit. i always talk to firkraag the first time i enter the copper-coronet just to get the quest and the location on my map and i usually do the windspear quest only in chapter six.
    so ... if there *is* a time limit it's months.

    You get both Nalia's and Firkraag's quest at the same time.
    Nalia's father is being eaten by Trolls. Yet it doesn't matter when you land up at the De'Arnise lands, the quest progresses the same.
    Firkraag is waiting for you to come to Windspear so as to soil your reputation. He waits to see you suffer before his eyes.
    So I dont think there is any time limit.

    [​IMG] There is no time limit for most of the quests. Only a few.

    Windspear Hills is one of those quests where you can take your time and go all over the place halfway through and Garren won't worry whether his child is safe :thumb:

    However you should complete the quest before heading back to Athkatla or some knights of the Order try to kill you fairly often (there is a % chance everytime you go to a different area of the city bar graveyard)

    But, not if you go to Garren's house and get him to go talk to the knights (and sleep there and have Garren's child stolen), right?
