i was just wondering are there any time limits on the quests within the game.
do i have as much time as i like or are should i worry about finishing quests quickly or as soon as i get them.
just wondering because i have the acorns but cannot even find where to go with them yet and its been ages as this was one of the first quests given to me......

You'll be fine with the Acorns but there are some time limit quests in the game. I know of two - Bohdi's offer and Lavok's. There are most likely more too.

  3. I wish there was a way to tell how long you had to comlete the quests... I just got back from D'Arnise hold (now my very own Fort Brunhilde), and I have to decide what to do next:

Go talk to Gaelyn Bayle and give him his money (a messenger came up to me when I got back in town and said to go see him)

    Do the Windspear Hills quest.

Go see the woman Uncle Quayle wants me to visit.

Meet someone in a graveyard at night.

    Anyone have advice/suggestions?
When I played the first game I had a problem with a timed quest (it was the one where you have to rescue Dynaheir), and wound up with Minsc turning on me. I eventually had to reload from a much eariler game. I'd like to avoid that situation again if I could.

Get to the Graveyard as soon as possible if you want to meet Bohdi. This is the timed quest I was speaking of. Taking up the Shadow Thieves offer can be done whenever, but it is best to talk to them right after Bohdi or before. Make your choice between either/or, whoever you wish to join is your adventure.

The other quests you'll be fine on and can do them as you please.

  6. Sylvus,
I thought Bhodi was evil? I am a respectful, law abiding party, see you here, and I will not associate with the Powers of Darkness!! (Until my second play through, when I plan to talk to all the beggars I can find and then refuse to give them any money! Bwwwaaaahhahhaahahha!!!)

Seriously, I heard there were two ways to accomplish the Shadow Thieves Quest, one by talking to Bhodi, the other by talking to Gaelyn Bayle and giving him his money. Is this true? Which path would you recommend?
