I've been having weird problems with some mods on ToB...I bought ToB a few months after i bought BG2, and when i just had BG2 installed all of my mods worked totally fine, and the game did also...when I installed ToB, the text in game and in alot of the menus was...gone. It was just blank. I then got the patch, and that fixed that pretty much, but some mods still have that same problem. The Dungeon Be Gone mod that worked when i just had BG2 now has blank text, and the Ascension mod has the same problem, but some of my mods work fine, the Imoen romance seems to work fine....does anyone know what I can do?

I had this same problem. Try this: first, uninstall the mods; patch and then reinstall the mods. The key is to make sure that it's patched before installing any mods.

Make sure that the game is *not* running when you install any mod. The same goes for ShadowKeeper or any other game editor.

well I actually installed the imoen romance mod and ascension mod after I patched, and the imoen one worked, and the ascension didn't...i've also never installed a mod while BG2 or shadowkeeper was running.

Sounds like you installed ToB while you had mods installed. That will permanently screw your game.

Remove all third-party stuff before installing ToB.

I havd huge problems there, foolishly installing the patch after some mods... I ended up having to uninstall absoluetly everything related to it, and manually remove files, delete the folders, then reintall everything in order. I lost all my game files too :(
