Jareira (ac -9) (level 10 or so)
    Minsc (Lilcanor) (Lvl 9)
Valygar (Flail of Ages + His katana) (just found him in Umar hills cabin.)
    Beats all

I go in trianlge, Jareira as 1st. All monsters attack her. minsc does from 2nd line. Valygar from behind. Jareira Doesnt need a weapon at all. Just stands and parries attacks... Is this a game exploit? Any way monsters need better AI. They always attack whom i want (JAreira with her -9 ac) and she hasnt been hit but once when was attacked by 3 skeleton warriors)

Well... just wait till you get some doom guards or other powerfull enemies later in the game, then it shouldn't be this easy anymore.

[IMG] Different monsters have different scripts and probably behave based on intelligence in some way. IMO you're playing smart and it's good that you're rewarded for doing so.

However there are a few instances when intelligent monsters act wrong. An example is Kangaxx (very high intelligence?) who keeps trying to imprison whoever is closest to him even after finding out that that one is immune.

[IMG] Fer my big surprise, the orc archers in the Firkraag dungeon, behind the secret doors attacked only my higher armor classed party members like Yoshimo and Aerie. It was a though fight. With a better AI even dumber monsters, like orcs could be a challenge!

Now that all depends on your party now, don't it? I can't see Korgan fitting with Minsc too well in a role-playing sense, or Minsc in an evil party or Korgan in a good one. From what I can tell, neutral parties are rare.

Minsc is to slow to figure out what korgon is up to, hes to buisy talking to his Giant Minature Space Hampster, to even see that Korgon is evil.
