[IMG] I am about halfway through BG2 and am getting a new computer. What data files must be copied to the new machine after installing the program? I assume the cache and data files, any others?

It´s just the same as when you reinstall your BG-2. You need:

-savegames from the save and mpsave folders
-portraits (if you inserted some custom ones)
    -sounds (as for portraits)
-characters (you put some effort in playing and creating them - no need to waste it ;) )

You don´t need the cache - the computer will create a new one. But if you like you can save this too

You simply go to baldurs gate files through c drive then my programs then click baldur's gate icon. Once inside youl see a folder that says (Save). right click on it and click send to floppy disk that you put in befor hand. Once thats done check it to make sure it there. When you get your new computer install baldur's gate. Then you acces baldur's gate file. then you simply put the save folder back in. there shouldnt be one in there before you do this because you havent saved a game yet. then go to baldurs gate game and load it up it should all be there.
