[IMG] I orginally had the BG 5 disk set, I finally got around to playing it, and they no longer sold just the ToSC set. I have started playing the 5 disk set of BG, transferred a save game to the BG/ToSC 3 disk game. It has done alright up until I get to the Candle Keep Catacombs, then it starts locking up. Any suggestions? Any help is appreciated.

If you don't have the TotSC, that's not so big deal at all... Me, myself I don't have it... Yes, with it you can gain one more level to your main chr, but what's the point that after all in BG2:ToB you'll get all 37 or 39 at the end?

Did you actually read what the guy's problem is? Considering your reply has nothing whatsoever to do with it?

Is the game locking up randomly, or is it on the loading area screen?

If it's the loading area screen, then i would suggest clearing out the cached files. Can't remember exactly all the folders (as i don't have the game installed so can't just look at them).

Isn't there a folder called Cached files, or something. Maybe someone else will know the locations of the cache folder.

Another option, save you save games, uninstall, delete everything that isn't your saves, then do full install. I mainly had the load area screen crash when i was loading area of the cds.

AFAIK, there is some sort of problem that converts the saves from the original BG1 to BG:TotSC...

Who cares? :hahaerr: Well, sorry :sosad:
