Trapped within the Drow city

    [​IMG] I seem to be trapped in Ust Natha. I have the Dragon's eggs, but I got them on my own, no trickery with Pheare or the Matron Mother, no demons or anything. I defeated the Illithid city before I went to the Drow city, so I had the blood of the brain. I gave that to the Matron Mother and failed to meet Pheare in the hour she provided, so she approached me, blew my subterfuge, and I've now killed what seems to be every drow in the city. So the problem is... I don't get the option to leave the city at the gate, and it's been almost a fortnight in game time from my last alternative save and I don't feel like doing all of that work again. Is there something I can do to get out? Or should I count my losses and start a new game?

    Unfortunately, there is not much you can do. The particular 'egg' quest & fake 'egg' scenario is very linear. Once it starts, you MUST do certain things so that the Temple ceremony (headed by the Matron Mother) is done. Then once she and Phaere are slain, the city gates are opened for a short time. If anything interrupts this, the city gates are locked and you wander around...indefinitely.


    Looks as if the reload of your saved game is the 'best' option for you right now. I have not heard or seen any post indicating an alternate way to leave the Drow city Ust Natha.

    [​IMG] Aaagh, that figures. I'll now have to redo the Asylum, the Sahaugin city, Brynnlaw, the Illithids, etc... In hindsight, I guess I learned a valuable lesson though, keep that backup current. Damn, that's a lot of f*ckin' around. Thanx Draco, I appreciate it.
