[IMG] Going through IWD/How once again with insane difficulty and I'm wondering if there is some dependence of treasure on the game settings / party ?

E.g. In the previous games I got in the fight with the bladed skeletons the "Serrated blade" (or what was the 2H sword name). Now it is a "Bone belt".
Another case of this is Kaliessa - it seems that you are getting items from her corpse depending on the party.

Was someone able to find some logic in this ?

    Regards

    Hassassin

    Dunno about the logic.

But that's been a part of BIS stuff for at least 5 years now. Fallout1 had stuff that was random. Baldur's Gate 1 had random stuff. IwD v1.06 had random.

That's why some people have to save/reload about a dozen times to get the "Elven Chain".

I drew the line long before that one. I load up Elven chain in Easthaven...

Dan Simpson has listed random items in his IWD walkthrough. :) You can get it from here http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/IWD/index.php

Random treasure for a certain location is generated from a random treasure table which has a set amount of items on it which you get randomly. And Simpson's walkthrough is on SP, of course.
