I'm sorry I have trouble finding it - berate me if it was underneath my nose. I also have some questions about it [ EDIT: nevermind, found it, but]:

    1) Does it permanently change the files to .wav?
    2) Does it have any affect on the game sounds or music?
    3) How do you use it, are you supposed to copy it into the Override directory? I'm not that good at doing these things. :(

I suppose I wrote readme.txt in the zip for my own amusement.

  Yes, I know your style and your rules; I wouldn't dare post something that couldn't be obviously found. The punishment I wouldn't be able to take. The problem is I read your text file, and despite it being the wonderful piece of literature it is, I still can't get it to work. The program opens and closes immediately. I double click the icon and then it opens for half a second and closes by itself. And excuse me if I missed it in the textfile, but DOES IT PERMANENTLY CHANGE THE GAME IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM? I want to get a complete hold of things before doing them. You could say I'm paranoid, so I apologize.

[IMG] The program seems to open then close immediatly but if you look in the folder again there should be another file (try refreshing the view) that will be the .wav/acm file

[IMG] I see a acm2wav.exe (the one that does not work and closes immediately), a FILE_ID.DIZ, the readme, and the sorcerer's place message. I did refresh it. I don't see the acm/wav file. It says it has to be in the same directory, but does it mean the game folder (BG II) or a folder inside the game folder (Override, or Music)?

[IMG] Hang on, are you using it properly?

Do this to the music file:
1)Hold down shift and right click on the Open With
2)Scroll down to find acm2wav (or browse for it)
3)click okay and it creates a copy of the file in wav/acm format

[IMG] Thanks for all your help, but only some of them work. Theme works and a few other files work, but the majority of them don’t. This message always comes up: “An error in AUDP3260.DLL” Sorry to be bothersome, but is there a way to fix this?

[IMG] It will only work on the files in Folders - the files under all the folders will not work!
