    [IMG] OK, here we go:
1: When you summon allies via the pocket plane, for each one you summon, you get XP. Why? I mean, you get XP just for asking for people? That makes little sense to me. Anyone have a logical explanation for me?

2: Now, here's another question. Being the XP hound that I am, I summon everyone I possibly can, then I select who I want in my party. Then I play the game. At the end of the game, I leave the pocket plane and face Melissan, and the plane is destroyed. What do you think happens to the NPCs and Cespenar who are left behind? Do they get spit back to Faerun? Do they die? What do you think?

    1) No explanation at all, as far as I can see.

    2) I fancy that they all get obliterated and their souls destroyed as the energy of the plane dissipates into the void. Fun to think about.

    1. My best guess would be because you did summon them is the reason that you get the XP. Never put any thought behind it myself.

    2. Since their fates are tied to yours, my guess would be that the characters you do not have in your party when you go to fight Melissan are sent back home, as it were, when the pocket plane is destroyed. Solar could very easily do this to insure no harm came to those whose services were no longer needed.

#1. Probably the sane reason you get XP for disarming a trap, or picking a lock.

#2. I agree with Spelladonna in that since there fates were tied to yours, they would probably be returned to Faerun unharmed.

    Other thoughts and possibilities:

#3. If you decide to become a mortal, then maybe on your way back to Faerun, you were able to stop by the pocket plane one last time to get your stuff that was stored away, and get the rest of the NPCs out of there before it was destroyed.

#4. Or perhaps, if you become the new lord of murder, then Cespanar, and all the other NPCs that were in the pocket plane will get teleported to your new throne "plane" to do with as you see fit.

Any of these are possible, but I'm going with #2. :rolling:
