Ugly character asking about my Mother's Race?

    Starting a new run, modded up a bit. When starting the new run through, I met a very ugly-looking character, his avatar looked like a drow, but his pic was kinda hairy-looking. His name was Wildereth? and he asked my PC what race my mother was? Then he goes away. I haven't seen him since, though I am still in the early portions of the game. Who is this guy and what does he want? Spoilers are ok.....

    I am not sure, but it could be from subraces mod or such. I never used no sub-race mod, but I think it fits your description. Depending on your answer, your character may receive additional bonuses/penalties regarding his/her mother's sub-race.

    I did install the sub-race mod, but since there was no chagne at charater creation, I just figured it wasn't compatible with other mods. That is probably it. I ma human and told the fellow that my mother was human only. I will have to start over and choose another answer then.... hmmmm... could be interesting. Thanks Silverstar!

    Heh, glad to be of help. It is not an elegant way, but sure easier to code/mod than editing the character creation screen. :) And I think you are doing good by starting a new game, for you will be missing all the extra content from the subrace mod (I think) if you told your mother was a normal human. :p

    It has been quite a while, and I think you've a couple I haven't used yet. Nevertheless, I am reasonably confident that, as 8 and Silverstar said, it will be part of the subraces mod. Restart time, I guess.
