Hello. I need some help. I had like the perfect team. until Aerie left. I don't know why? Korgan said something about how she should leave and she left. She was my only cleric so im having a little trouble. So i went back to the circus but still couldn't find her. Does anybody know where she is? Or is she gone for ever. And also i already finished the romance with her. Oh Yeah.

I also wanted to know if my team is ok. This is my first time playing BG2.

I have 4 fighters. ME(Normal fighter, two handed master.) Minsc (has +3longsword+ to undead.) Korgan (Ax that gives at least 12~19 dam) And the thief dude you meet at the begining which i forgot his name. I use his traps to kill the first line of enimies and find traps. mostly he just use back stabs for the first attack and scouting things out. Aerie she only uses helpful magic such as haste or heal. She gives help for only the front line char which is my fighters. In other words she uses Prtection from mind cotrol and etc. tehn she uses haste and etc. also uses breach to knock out the mages. So she doesn't really do the fighting but is really helpful. Then i have edwin. Only one mage. He's like the back up guy. If my fighters are dead(Never happend.
4strong guys in the front line with a lot of magic on it will not die so easily. I only lost all my three fighters in a battle with a red dragon. I tried 21 times to beat that dawm thing) My main char will back off and edwin will summon some guys than use his attack magic on the left over enmies. They mostly die because my fighters give a lot of damage. (Think. 4 guys at leat giving 17 or over dam each at once with haste. 17 x 4 ?)
Anyway I had like the perfect team until Aerie left me. So im stuck with that Sir what ever guy where you meet him from the Slums. i chose him because i used him until i got edwin. He was the cleric for my team and aerie was my mage. But anyway. I think my team is pretty good. I died 23 times till right now. And im about to go to the to spell hold right now. And i died 21 times beating the Red dragon.
Tell me what you think and tell me about aerie. Well c ya.

 

bad things arise when you have both good and evil aligned characters in your group.I vagely remember someone talking about a stand of between Arie and Korgan. And the one you dissed waqs gone for good, but Couldn't she hide in the copper Coronet? lots of people do.

As to your need for a cleric, (SPOILERS INSIDE) you could always go to the government district and save someone from getting burnt Else you said you had Sir Anómen or what? he is an ok cleric, he just don't get the many low level bonus spells but his asset is that he can be a front line fighter too. I would also keep an eye out for either Imoen, Jan or Nalia. You will now why eventually.

Any team is OK, AverageAce. It's just a matter of what you like.

Anyway, in my opinion Aerie can easily be replaced with Anomen. As Nobleman said, he's quite good as a fighter. He also gets high level cleric spells faster and turns undead better than Aerie.
