umar hills quest question? spoiler

    [​IMG] so I buy the book and use the secret password and the guy asks for the blood of a silver dragon. at the time I didn't know where to find a silver dragon so I forgot all about it. I just left the underdark, is that the only silver dragon? I have no intention of killing one I had thought I need him to think I had the blood so I could catch up with the tanner murderer, but I killed him in trademeet, not where the plot line said I would find him. anyway is there anything I can do with the guy that wants the dragon blood, boo says I should just go kill him since he is evil.

    As I understand it(though I don't know for certain as I stear clear of any posts about chapters/quests I haven't done yet (just finished the underdark Saturday)) there was a way to escape and kill the dragon, then take the blood to the guy in Umar. However, once you leave the underdark, supposedly the dragon is gone(makes plotline sense). It's the only silver dragon I've head of, and I know people have fought and killed it as I've seen post of the sort. Maybe if you helped the matrons mother's daughter or the mother herslf as oposed to the dragon you could leave via one of those two. I don't know as I was a good character, did what was right, and the dragon took me to the exit. Anyway, that's all the info I have, and it's of the hearsay variety, so take it for what it's worth.

    so did you kill the guy that wanted the dragon blood? I just left the underdark as well. Then went back in to finish some dungeons I didn't do.

    I ended up finishing the game with the Silver Dragon blood quest still open. It was the ONLY quest left, so I tried like hell to complete it. The Dragon is gone when you go back into the underdark, so no blood. I didn't want the blood anyway, since I'm a Paladin, but just killing Darcin Cole did not close the quest. I also solved the murders and did away with the tanner later in Trademeet, but I could never get this quest closed.
