    2-handed sword any time :D
Nothing beats Carsomry. And it's much cooler to smite evil with all-holy paladin blade.

For liches.... Just search the forum under "lich" and you'll find plenty of advices.

Just make sure you get Carsomry and you dont need anything else ;)
Seriously - Just roam the land and pick up what seems worth something

Yeah, I agree with Goth, I would go with the two handed long swords, they do way more dammage and the Carsomry will add even more dammage to undead. To make up for their slowness, make sure you put at least two marks on Two Handed Weapon Style. :rolling:

You should also pick up some scrolls of Prot. from Undead, they're useful when you're fighting liches and anything else. But don't use the scrolls with undead NPC's, since they won't initiate dialog, and then you can't kill some of them...

    Two-Handed Swords!

You can get a nice talking one early on that will help defend some mind control stuff. ;)

If you're an undead hunter, you don't really need to worry about the Negative Plane Protection that some weapons give you. You CAN still take regular damage from undead, though, so protection from Undead scrolls are really useful. Lilarcor, the 2 handed sword from the sewers under the Copper Coronet, is a great sword for how early in the game you can get it, though it doesn't have any other benefits directly related to the Undead like, say, Daystar. If you feel you might like some extra protection while fighting regular goons, remember that there is no penalty to using a shield even if you have no slots in the Sword and Shield proficiency, and some of those longswords like the Flame Blade are pretty sweet. An axe like Azuredge is good for dealing with undead from a distance, though because it can be used as a ranged weapon you can't dual wield it. Just some thoughts from a guy whose best ever run through the game was as an Undead Hunter.

You should take two-handed swords, and twohanded weapons. As some people here have already told you, Carsomyr +5 is probably the best weapon for an Undead Hunter. But since you are soloing, you'll have a hell of a problem getting it! :p

    Carsomyr all the way...
But you're soloing...so it will be very hard( hellz i mean VERY hard)to get it.
Lilarcor is another very good blade.Don't bother using long-swords.

I'm sure you'll find all the necessary equipment to battle Firkraag in the preceding quests. Just be sure you're protected from fire. And memorize plenty of summoning spells. Fire Elemental is a good choice.

Oops. Missed out on the solo word. Looks you'll have to take the blows yourself, unless you can find a few items that summon things for you. Hope you have a high AC. ;) :p

Well, I would put at least one proficiency in longsword, or maces. Some longswords come in handy against vampires and then there is the mace of diruption that can be used. other than that I would put them in 2-handed swords.

No, you won't be able to summon a fire elemental. Also, paladins cannot get any spells above level 4, ever. If you don't disable the xp cap, you'll hit a max of level 17. Could a 17 undead hunter solo Firkraag? I honestly doubt it. He'll wing buffet you then beat you down.

A Paladin is capable of getting an Efreeti Bottle. All he has to do is kill that one Dao Djinni in Trademeet. Of course, that angers the other Dao, but you got your little Fire-Resitant Genie to do your work for you, dontcha?

I believe that a Ring of Djinni Summoning is found somewhere. But I think you have to side with Bodhi to do that. Seeing as how you're an Undead Hunter, too bad.

Can't really think of any more items that you can use to summon creatures to soak up damage versus Firkraag. But get what you can, and cowardly fire bolts/arrows/slingstones/darts against him. Hopefully you'll get around to doing it. But probably not. :(

That efreeti bottle can be pickpocketed from the genie outside the tent. But you cant do it since you're solo and pally. --> Make the quest then kill him before he disapears.

Another good choise are elemental staffs. One such can summon fire elemental the other earth elemental and the third air elemental. I think you get Staff of air +2 in Astral prison. About the earth one i dont know.
    Anyone?

Black spider Figure - graveyard district underground dome.

Make sure you grab Vhailor's Helm as you can cast simulacrion with all quick items slots. This way you can double 3 summons and get an extra pally of 60% of your XP and level.

Forgot about the Lion Figurine you can get as a Paladin. You need to finish the Firkraag quest to be inducted into the Order, which in turn will get you the Figurine. Later, they ask you kill to the Red Dragon.
