Undead Sola *sigh*

    How do I defeat this freak. my party is:
    Cavalier 17
    Valygar 17
    jahiera 13/13
    jan 13/16
    kelsey 17

    i just can't get any shots thru to hit sola. i'm fighting him in the corridor and closing the door to make it a fair 1 on 12 fight.

    advice please...

    The easiest ways:

    1) Give the axe Azuredge to your Cavalier (better if he is improved hasted too).
    Wait for Solafein's Prot.f.Magical weapons to run out.
    Attack him.

    2) (Cheesy solution)
    Start the battle.Then retreat and go up to the first floor.Wait for some time (rest would be easier).Go down again.
    Now Solaufein won't have his heavy protections...

    Jan can use thief skill detect illusions to make Sola visible again, then hurl at least three Ruby Ray of Reversals, which bypasses and dispels SI:Abjuration, Divination and Evocation.

    Then Pierce Shield and Breach him, he would be gone in no time, remember, it is all about piercing through impossible defenses!

    I did it but the taste of cheese is still in mt mouth. oh well, when life gives you lemons :)

    EDIT: how do u raise him. i think u must use bodhis heart but how?

    Raise him like you'd raise the other romanceable NPCs.

    Here's how if you don't know. Take Sola's body, Bodhi's heart and the 3 vampire books you found in the vamp nest. (It's one specifically, but I don't recall which.) Go to the temple ruins in Umar Hills (where you fought the shadow dragon) and to that room with the letters on the floor. Cross it and to the little room with the female statue inside. Stuff Sola and the heart in her arms. A moment or 2 later, *poof* Sola should appear.

    Oh God. I remember undead Sola. Of course that battle is relatively easy compared the the dreaded Eclipse Crew...

    Anomen was level 40 by the time we got to Bodhi's lair. It was hands-down the easiest "tough battle" I've ever had. Turn Undead: Everyone but Bodhi and the Grimwarders went down IMMEDIATELY. :banana: And let me tell you, it was SOOOOOO gratifying after putting up with that insufferable drow since the underdark...and especially after hearing about how uber-powerful he was as a lich. :p
