    I have installed the Unfinished Business Mod, and on it, Unger Hilldark sends you off to the Umar Hills to find his brother in the temple. Well, I went through the entire temple in completing the Shade Lord quest, but where the heck is his brother???

    I've looked inside and outside, but evidently, I missing something, because he is nowhere to be found.

    EDIT: I did have Jerella make the alloy and I gave that to Sir Sarles. Does this cause you to not be able to get the real illitium? However, there is still an item regarding Unger's statement in my quest log, so I hope I can still do this quest.

    I thought that this problem was fixed. Maybe conflict with other mods?
    He should be at this position [1197.1917] in AR1401. If he isn't there, check global variable: CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("FindGorje","GLOBAL"). It should be 1 before he is created in area and 2 after his creating.

    I ran into the same problem. I seem to recall that he is supposed to be in the room jsut north of the lava pit. I think I remember reading somewhere that if you have Tactics installed, the enemies end up killing him.

    The Global variable is set to 2, so he should be there, but provided Splunge's location is correct, he isn't. Now, if he isn't supposed to be in the room north of the lava pit, maybe I'm still looking in the wrong place. Is there any way to create him using the CLUAConsole?

    NP :) :rolling:

    Any creature (added through mods or original) can be created this way, given that you know what the name of the creature file, that is...

    What I did was simply to open up my own UB folder, and search it through till I found what I wanted. You can always do that should you ever run into a similar problem ;) .

    What makes the created creature behave normally? PC's global varies about quests? So you don't create another kind of the same creature for initiating the quest, or completing it...

    @Silverstar:
    Yep. Global variables handle pretty much everything in conjunction with the dialog and scripts applied to the character. The dialog and scripts (including area scripts sometimes) set the variables when they want to change something, and the variables determine what will happen. That's what programming is all about.

    As Fel said, Global variables control pretty much everything that happens in the game. There's also variables assigned as "Local", the only difference is that Locals can only be used to trigger things within a script, whereas the Global's can communicate with other scripts.

    Gorje should himself have a script assigned to him that will trigger your jurnal entries and the likes. There's also an area script for the temple ruins, this should make him spawn if the right conditions are met (In this case it's probably a global variable assigned to Unger Hilldark that will be set whenever you accept the quest from him).
