Ust Natha problem

    [​IMG] need help: I’m trying to finish one of Phaere's quest: Attack a Deep Gnome patrol. ofter she finishes her speech Solaufein walks off. I am supposed to meet Solaufein west of Ust Natha near the gnomish city.

    Here is the problem every time i exit the city. i get the massage that Solaufein and the king are fighting and then he dies and i am discovered.

    Is this supposed to happen? if not how do i fix it

    I don’t want to load a game since last time I saved was in Sahuagin City

    yeah you're supposed to meet with Solaufein somewhere near the gnomish village although it's weird that you get that message

    so either you possibly took too long to meet up with him, this a bug from the game (if you haven't already try the official BGII patch or the baldurdash fixpack), or maybe you have some mods installed on your game?

    Solaufein can sometimes be killed by the myconid king if you just Ctrl-J around the Underdark. He never died in my game when I did that, though. Just kill the myconids before doing the quest.

    ...or have I completely misunderstood what's happening?
