Was looking into every house in the Bridge District and ran into 4 baddies. The names were like Valeria, Dracandros and whatever the other two were, don't really remember. They all gave a good amount of exp, so I assume they were decent levels.

Do these guys have any purpose, or do they just sit there and try to kick butt when you enter that particular house?

I've never done it, but my understanding is they are part of the Limited Wish gong quest.

Nope, these guys are not the part of the gong quest. These are just straight hostile... btw, I happened to run into them pretty early and got spanked a couple of times. The cleric /I think/ gates in a glabrezu /i think/, so it can get messy, if you're unprepared.

They're on the right hand side of the Bridge District, just north of the Five Flagons. There are two houses next to each other and they're in the one on the right.

I don't think they play any part in the gong quest because I've completed that and never had any interaction with them. But in any case they're worth killing just for the XP.

    Thanks for the info guys.

I did have the one dude cast Cacofiend, which was not very nice, but that just delayed the butt whipping for a few seconds :D

The other theory that's been thrown around has been to do with Valeria and her goons is that they were part of the Slaver quests, but not factored in to it.

As for if you ever go and fight them, once you've done it first in the game, or more to the point, always have your cleric, memorise a prot from evil 10' radius. Why ? The demon can't touch you, and you can concentrate on valeria and her goons, and if you've got enough attacks left, even with PfE still going, if you're good enough, you can take the demon out still, before it vanishes
