Valygar messed up

    Hi all.

    I just had to re-install SoA and ToB because I got a new computer.

    Valygar can no longer backstab. I know the correct technique for backstabing because I can do it with other characters. I've even tried removing him from my party and bringing him back. It's not the weapon because I've used that weapon with other characters. When I look at him in the character info screen there is no line Backstab x4 (which is what it should be at this point).

    Anyone know how to add the backstab skill with Shadowkeeper?

    Uhhh, nevermind. Now it seems to be working. Though I still can't see the line Backstab x 4 anywhere. Oh well.

    It is not working properly.
    You lost backstab modifier due to game bug with stalkers.
    Please zip your saved game and mail it to me as (IIRC) it can't be fixed by ShadowCheater but only with Near Infinity.

    I'll fix it at Saturday afternoon, because I'm not home now, so if you want, you may mail me the game st Saturday. :(

    [​IMG] Yeah, there's a lot of problems with the backstab of stalkers. I heard that there is also a bug where if Valygar dies and is raised, he loses the backstab ability. This does not only afflict Valygar, but any stalker.

    Ive never gotten this, Actually the first time I played the game through was with an Archer, and thats the only time I ever used Valygar, I always kill him the other times and give up his body cause I cant be bothered doing his quest. :D
