Okay this topic is ment for Dragon Ball Z followers/worshipers etc.

Anyway the question is, does anyone knows what Vegeta feels when he finds out that trunks is his son? Yeah we all know that when Trunks from the future comes to the current time period, he keeps his true identity secret from Vegeta. So what does Vegeta think/feel when he finds out who his son, Trunks really is?

Oh yeah, whose your favourite DBZ character?
Mine is the prince of Saiyans, Vegeta.

 

Hmmm. Since the only times I've seen DBZ is on Cartoon Network, most of the episodes have been a load of talking/screaming/twitching/powering up/etc. which has confused the hell out of me...I don't really enjoy it.

What Vegeta feels? He is proud of Trunks that he is so strong at such a young age. Although he doesn't reveal it. On the outside it looks like he dislikes Trunks.

My favorite character is probably Tien or Piccolo. And Goten is pretty cool BTW.

 

I always thought he was jealous of Trunks, or annoyed, maybe both.
Anyways, I always liked Krillan.

 

I never thought about that he might be jealous. It's a good explenation why he is always so mean to him, but there might also be sometimes a sort of pride.

 

Hmm, thats weird. I've always thought that Trunks was proud of his father when he was a kid ... any one have any idea what he thinks of him when he is at the age where he goes back in time?

 

Well, when Trunks comes back in time to help fight Cell, he says that the only thing that drove his father onward was the thought that he was stronger than everyone else. Trunks knew this and respected it, so he obviously cares for his dad.

As far as Vegeta...well, he's an idiot overall...but during the Buu series he told his son (young here, this wasn't the Trunks from the future) that he was very proud of Trunks. I would assume that this means that he cared for his son. And that was right before Vegeta initiated the coolest Saiyan power ever but if you haven't seen it, I don't want to ruin it for you.

 

this was a while ago for me , but the way i saw it, is that vegeta was so stunned that there was another super saiyan, and that he didn't have a clue who and where he came from. He also thought at first that it would be impossible for trunks to be a super saiyan, or a saiyan for that matter as he didn't have black hair.
As the events built up to the cell sagas, i got the impression vegeta, didn't really want to know much about trunks as all he considered him to be was another competitor in a race to see who would become the strongest.
Vegeta had only one goal then ,and that was to become the strongest, however when cell killed trunks, vegeta wen mad and gave everything he had to try to kill cell, but to no avail, which shows he did have some feelings for his son.

One flaw there Death Master, Vegeta doesn't know about Trunks as his son at the time ...

vegeta would have been proud of trunks, but only after his trunks was born. he is always jealous of anyone more powerful than he is.

before fatherhood (and ultimately the fight with boo) the only thing that mattered to vegeta was that, being the prince of the saiyans, he should have been the best. it's why he doesn't get on with goku, and would not get on with trunks (remember they spent a year together in the 'slow-time' training room and he still hated the future trunks, especially after he used that 'bulk-up' power) that's the way that vegeta was brought-up, a snob.

btw, favourite character is vegeta, his poor temperament and widow's peak!

 

If we're talking about the Trunks from the future, then Vegeta doesn't really like that Trunks initially, although he does accept him later.

But Vegeta actually didn't care for his Trunks when he was a baby (as proven when Future Trunks had to save Bulma [or whatever you call her in the English version] and the present Trunks while Vegeta just stood there, too busy thinking about his defeat). But later on, when Trunks grows up into a powerful kid, Vegeta clearly loves him, although he generally hides his feelings. There was one time where he showed his feelings when he was fighting Majin-Boo. Vegeta actually shed a tear and hugged Trunks. He then proceded to initiate the second (sorry Sapiryl) coolest Saiyan power ever.

And my favourite DB character is Gokou. Or Gohan. Never could make up my mind.

What do you think is the number 1 Saiyan power Rhythm?

Well, , I think Piccolo used to be my favorite character but he's mellowed out of late. Now, I think my favorite character has to be...Goten. He just reminds me so much of Goku.

i always liked the 'kikoho' where you make a targetting site using your hands, as tenshinhan used repeatedly on the second incarnation of cell.

 

I just love Vegeta plain and simple ... powers and all ... though i do think that Freeza's planet killer power thing that he cast against the planet Vegeta and Goku's father is pretty mad! Bad stuff!

 

I know this is well off topic but i know you will be interested if you love dragonball z, I downloaded this fantastic half life mod called Dragonmod Z. It is absolutely brilliant, its got all your favourite characters and captures all the spirit of dragonball z, from you Kamehamehas to your Final Blasts, from super saiyan transforming to epic power struggles. I highly reccommend it to any dbz fan, however it those have a lot bugs and crashes quite abit, but there is a new bug fix patch coming out soon.

The coolest power?

I think turning into Super Saiyan 4 is the coolest power in DB. Although I'm not too sure whether that can be classified as a "power".
I dunno, I guess I just like the look of SS4.

If not, I like whatever Gogeta does. Yep, everything the guy does, he does in style.

 

Since i am in Australia, DAragon Ball Z is a lot behind everyone else in the world. Here Goku just came back from training. Apparently he is meant to be the second super saian. Legend has it... etc.

Does anything interesting happen to Goku in later episodes?

 

Well, you shouldn't watch it on tv. You can download episodes all over the internet. That is how I saw most of the Dragonball Z episodes, before they were on Dutch television. I think all of the episodes are translated now. I have the Buu saga in Japanese, because there wasn't any version available yet, when I downloaded it. But it is still great to watch because almost all the episodes have English subtitles.

I also just got the entire Dragonball GT serie so, I can't wait to watch it.

 

Not all the episodes are translated yet, there are a total of 291 eps in Japanese, while there are only gonna be 278(I think) in english, and they are only up to 253.

----SPOILER FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN UP TO FUSION SAGA---

i can't wait till 254, so i can see Goku and Vegeta (fused together) take on Buu.

Besides what is the right name for when Goku and Vegeta fused together, Gogeta or Vegetto, or are the two different names for two different types of fusion, one with the earings and one with the funny dance.
