Very Odd Bug...

I had entered the slave lord compound. I lured the fighters downstairs and took them out. When I was loading up their waepons and testing them out, I noticed my familiar had disapeared from my pack. I haven't taken him out in forever so I'm sure I didn't leave him or kill him. Didn't loose a point of const either. Then after I'm checking out my new special abilities from Celestial Fury, I see that I have several thousand charges on my ring of human influence and necklace that cures poison. I'm sot sure what to do. Can I cast find familiar again? If I take the items off, will I loose all the charges? Has anyone else experienced anything like this?!:"?

 

I have never been a mage so I don't know much about familiars, but if they don't level up, just make a new one and be happy with your luck.

I just noticed that Nalia has been without her unremovable family signet ring through almost the whole Underdark. Are there monsters or NPCs who steal? Or is this just another bug?

I had similar experience with prices (post: "Inflated Item Price..") a few days ago. It was also during the slavelords section. (I loaded a previous save game to make sure) Afterwards, I had a couple of rings that were priced a over 19 million gold!

I made safety backups, then reinstalled the game files, just to make sure they weren't corrupted somehow. The new values stayed the same. I sold a ring, then raised everyone's morale with a shopping spree! So far I have not noticed any problems.

Never checked for charged items, though. Hope my wand of resurection has a couple thousand charges!! What a security blanket!

 

i had nalia die on me, after resurection - no family ring! i wasnt to fussed, it doesnt do anything, and it free'd up the space for another ring.

 

Here's a bug I ran across.

In Trademeet, if you have 1 party member enter Mazzy's house and you leave the rest of the party outside in the streets, when you try to leave Mazzy's house, you'll get the "You must gather your party before venturing forth" message.

You can't click on any other party member who you left outside to move them into the house. You can enter the house alone, but you can't leave alone.

Cost me about 30 minutes of playing when I had to reload.

Games need an auto save feature set on a timer for 5 minute rotations.

It doesn't do anything? How about a bonus of 2 to AC, 2 to saving throws and 50% resistance to fire? Anyways, I haven't resurrected her once, and I have no idea how and when it happened.

 

Yeah, Syl, I had a similar situation. Don't remember just where, but I had my main fighter inside a room and couldn't leave, like you said. But, I WAS able to double click on an outside member portrait which chnaged the view to the outside group. That let me select all and then enter the room to join up with my lead. Ollus Klar after that.

 

My ranger picked up a Blade of Roses once and his Hp doubled and his magic resistance became 100 percent.
What the hell?

 

Still haven't tried finding familiar again yet(mainly because I don't care for the psaudo dragon except the extra HP). However, the extra 6,000 or so charges eventually disapeared on their own. Kinda sucks. Wish I had a chance to make good use of them before hand though.
